Using the links below, you can view or download scanned images, in .jpg format, of the pages of service manuals for the SM420 and SM465 4-speed transmissions used in Chevy/GMC trucks and often retrofitted into Toyota Land Cruisers and other vehicles. The images are provided here for educational and private use purposes only.

For each transmission, the images are available in both 150x150 and 300x300 dpi resolutions. The higher resolution provides better quality at the expense of larger sizes and longer download times. The 150x150 images are typically about 150KB in size while the 300x300 are typically about 600KB. Each page is available as a separate .jpg file and the entire set for each transmission is provided in a .zip file. If you want to view the images online, the 150x150 resolution is recommended. However, even with 1280x1024 screen resolution, the image is wider and taller than the screen can display.

The PDF files listed below were compiled from the 300x300 images but they are not as clear as the original images. For best results, download the Zip file or the individual images.
